Seventeen are scheduled to star on MTV’s ‘We Speak Music’ in the US for the first time as a K-pop artist.

MTV, a famous American music broadcaster, announced on its official SNS today, “Seventeen are to perform on ‘We Speak Music’ on July 23rd.”

This is a new record as it marks the first time a K-pop artist has appeared on the show. It is said that the boy group will perform their new title track “_World” from their fourth repackaged album ‘Sector 17.’

‘We Speak Music’ is a campaign that highlights artists who have performed on MTV during the month of July under the theme of ‘Music, the universal language.’

Previously, Seventeen members S.Coups, Hoshi and Woozi performed a powerful performance of their unit song ‘Cheers’ at ‘We Speak Music’ on July 18th.

The upcoming performance is particularly meaningful as the group have achieved a tremendous album sales of 1,032,238 copies with their newly released album ‘Sector 17.’ This makes it the eighth consecutive album to achieve over a million sellers.
